By booking with us by phone or on our website, you agreed to our terms and conditions.

 Scheduling

Al schedule changes are handled directly with the company and NOT through the cleaning technician, who does not have full access to Shiniest House scheduling system.

If you want to request a schedule change, contact contact@shiniesthouse.com or call 936-217-8381.

Do not contact our cleaning technicians to cancel or modify your appointment.

Cancelation and Reschedule policy

To serve you better and keep the best cleaning technicians staffed in your homes, we need to guarantee that our employees have a full schedule, and last-minute cancellations and lockouts prevent us from reaching that goal. Therefore, after much consideration, we have updated our policy to guarantee our canceled spot does not go unsold.

Less than 24 hours notice, day of service, or lockout: 100% of the full-service rate will be charged

Between 24-48 hours from the start of the appointment: $50.00 per employee assigned to the service

More than 48 hours (3 days in advance) from the start of the appointment—no charge

 Email and SMS appointment reminders:

We send an email reminder 72 hours (3 days) from your scheduled service date and time and another text reminder 24 hours from your scheduled service date and time. These reminders will allow you to contact our office to cancel or reschedule.  If you need to update your mobile number or email, kindly contact our office for assistance. Shiniest House reserves the right to process payments for cancellation and rescheduling fees given the circumstances outlined in the policy.

Calling our office number at 936-217-8381. Our business hours are Monday-Friday, from 9:00 am to 5.00 pm (we’re closed on federal holidays).

Re-cleans & Complaints

Complaints or notices regarding services performed by Shiniest House must be reported within 24 hours from the date and time of service. Reports should be sent to contact@shiniesthouse.com with your full name, address, contact information, service date, and detailed complaint description, including photos or short videos. Refunds are not granted without the prior visit of a manager to assess the issue and determine the refund amount.

Appointment Times

We reserve the right to arrive at scheduled appointments within a 1-hour window.

For example, if your cleaning is scheduled for 11 AM, your cleaning technician may arrive between 11 am and noon. The given window allows us to manage routes according to home locations.

YOUR HOME

Home Access

If no one will be home to let our cleaners in at the time of the appointment, kindly send us a text or call our hotline number to provide instructions for access, duly note it on your account, and coordinate it with the cleaners.

Pets & Animals

Please secure your pets appropriately (in a travel crate or kennel). Your cleaning technician will be kind to your pets, but Shiniest House cannot be responsible for their behavior.

What we don’t clean:

  • Putting away multiple loads of dishes
  • Cleaning bio-hazards (mold, blood, bodily fluids)
  • Animal Waste
  • Insects and/or rodents
  • Hoarding and high levels of trash and debris
  • Heavy scrubbing of walls and doors
  • Inside curio or china cabinets with delicate decor
  • Moving or lifting anything over 25 lbs.  We cannot move furniture, but we will try to reach visible places by hand or with an extension duster.
  • High-to-reach areas, including windows, chandeliers, or high-light fixtures.  We do not climb higher than a 2-step ladder. Higher items will only be dusted with an extension duster. Most homes have at least one chandelier or vaulted ceiling fan that we cannot reach by hand.
  • Excessive build-up on blinds or brittle blinds. We cannot guarantee the results of mini-blind cleaning.

Please allow for some dust resettlement after we leave; we try to limit the dust in the air but cannot prevent this entirely.

 Clutter

For us to properly perform our job, your home should be uncluttered when we arrive to clean. This means clothes, toys, and general items should be out of the way and off the floors. If you cannot remove clutter beforehand, please let us know so we can offer you an organizing service before cleaning.

Safety & Confidentiality

Should any household member require syringes due to a medical condition, please ensure they are disposed of safely. Place used syringes and/or needles in a secure container with a lid before the final disposal. Any unexpected stab by an unsecured needle can pose serious health concerns to our team.

Please also be sure that any confidential or potential illegal documents, firearms, weapons, substances, or paraphernalia are put away or removed before the cleaning technician arrives.

If at any point the environment at your home poses a health or safety issue for our cleaning technician, we can no longer service your home since it puts them at risk. We’d be happy to reevaluate once the circumstances have changed and these Safety and Confidentiality Terms are met.

Before and After Photos

We reserve the right to document our work, including before and after photographs and video snippets, that will not disclose your home’s location or privacy.

Damages

In the unlikely event that your cleaning technician breaks an item or causes any damage to your property during cleaning, please contact Shiniest House through contact@shiniesthouse.com

—If you fail to report the damages within 24 hours from the service date, we will not further accommodate requests for repair or a refund for the damages.

Unfair Solicitation Agreement

We value our Cleaning Technicians and pour enormous time, energy, and expense into our screening, hiring, and training process. We are proud that Shiniest House has some of the lowest turnover rates in the nation. This agreement helps safeguard our success in providing only the best staff to our deserving customers.  Sadly, some people want quality without paying for it and attempt to undercut our efforts by trying to “poach” our Cleaning Technicians. This is why our customers and Cleaning Technicians sign our “unfair solicitation agreement.” A fee of $2,500 (for damages) will be assessed if breached.  This helps to minimize the risk of unfair solicitation, which undermines the good experience all our clients have come to expect.  Please help us maintain our extraordinary success by not soliciting our Cleaning technicians for hire directly.

I understand that Shiniest House cleaning technicians cannot work directly with me for one full year after termination. 

I understand that I will be charged a $2,500 finder’s fee if I hire a Cleaning Tech from Shiniest House individually for private work.

 PRICING REFERENCE

General/Standard Clean, Deep Clean, Move-in/Out Clean, & Post-Construction Clean

Our rate varies depending on the size of the house in square feet and the last cleaning performed.

We charge an additional for supplies fee, gas fee, credit card processing fee and state tax (The state of Utah requires us to collect sales taxes at 7.25%)

The minimum number of hours we can book in order to dispatch a maid is (3 hours)

Shiniest House will honor the time booked on the website. Our pricing schedule is accurate as long as the original description submitted matches the size and condition of the residence.

Please refrain from omitting or providing false information about your property’s dirt condition. Rather, submit all accurate information to avoid uncompleted jobs and inaccurate estimations.

If our cleaning technician arrives at a residence and conditions require more work than the originally booked time allows, the team will clean through the end of the scheduled time; at that time, if the residence requires further cleaning, the cleaning technician will continue at the standard hourly rate of $50–55 per hour per cleaning team member only upon confirmation by the customer.

Cleaning Supply Fee

All scheduled jobs are charged a $10 fee, including recurring and one-time cleans.

 Credit Card Fee

All scheduled jobs are charged a 1.5% credit card processing fee, including recurring and one-time cleans.

  Add-Ons

Cleaning add-ons such as the inside of the fridge, oven, hand-wiping windows, doors, inside cabinets, etc., can be added during the booking process.

Capping Your Cleaning Service

Please note that on any deep cleaning, including move-in/out, the cleaning team or technician will work at the scheduled allocated time to complete the tasks.

If, for any reason, you would like to set an alternative time limit on your cleaning rather than the time suggested during booking (for example, 3 hours of service as opposed to the suggested 3.5 hours on our booking page), you must do so before accepting the appointment; we cannot accept a lower payment after the fact. Note that when you set a fixed time for your cleaning, your team will stop working at the time requested, even if the job is not completed. In these cases, we will not be able to honor the 100% satisfaction guarantee or re-clean your home free of charge since we are limited due to the time constraint you established.

There are a few situations where our normal rates may change or vary:

  • Post-construction/remodeled houses
    • Hourly rate is between $50 and $60/hr + sales tax per hour per maid. Also, the estimated times listed on our Pricing page will not apply. Post-construction and remodeling jobs take double the time, so the total time (and price) usually doubles.
  • Bad-condition jobs (when the client auto-selects in the booking form or the cleaner reports it to the company)
    • Hourly rate is $55–60/hr + sales tax per hour per maid.
  • Very cluttered homes where we need to pick up and clear areas to be able to clean.
    • Hourly rate is $55–60/hr + sales tax per hour per maid.
  • Weekends:
    • Hourly rate is $50–60/hr + sales tax per hour per maid.
  • Corporate Pricing:
    • Hourly rate could range from $46/hr to $55/hr plus sales tax per hour per maid.

 Recurring Services

Square footage, bed/bath count, and home condition determine the price for recurring services. Pricing is set for up to 1 year (12 months) from the date of your first cleaning. Every year, we raise prices based on inflation.

 Collections

A $50.00 fee will be assessed for all monies owed to our collections provider after 360 days of the service date, and any discounts or coupons will not be honored. Invoices are due on the day of service. Any payment received after the day of service is considered late.

I also understand that if I have an unpaid balance to Shiniest House (Allservs LLC), and do not make satisfactory payment arrangements, my account may be placed with an external collection agency. I will be responsible for reimbursement of any fees from the collection agency, including all costs and expenses incurred in collecting my account and possibly reasonable attorney’s fees if so incurred during collection efforts.

For Shiniest House or their designated external collection agency to service my account, and where not prohibited by applicable law, I agree that Shiniest House and the designated external collection agency are authorized to (i) contact me by telephone at the telephone number(s) I am providing, including wireless telephone numbers, which could result in charges to me, (ii) contact me by sending text messages (message and data rates may apply) or emails, using any email address I provide; and (iii) methods of contact may include using pre-recorded/artificial voice message and/or use of an automatic dialing device, as applicable.

 Damaged Property

Shiniest House follow the standards and policies the Fabricare Industry and the International Fabricare Institute set forth. We exercise the utmost care in cleaning and processing garments entrusted to us and use such processes, which, in our opinion, are best suited to the nature and conditions of each garment. Nevertheless, we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weakness or defects in materials or manufacturing, which may result in tears or the development of small holes in fabric that are not clear before processing. We cannot guarantee against color loss, color bleeding, shrinkage, damage to weak and tender fabrics, or damage to ancillary items such as, but not limited to, belts, buttons, beads, ties, or zipper pulls. Shiniest House liability concerning any damaged items shall not exceed ten times our charge for cleaning that garment, regardless of brand or condition. Any damaged items must be reported via email to contact@shiniesthouse.com and returned to Shiniest House for inspection within one business day.

Lost and Loose Items

Any lost items must be reported via email to contact@shiniesthouse.com within one business day. Shiniest House makes its best reasonable effort to track every item we process and will review all lost item claims on a case-by-case basis. Any items determined to have been lost at the sole discretion of Shiniest House will be reimbursed following the International Fabricare Fair Claims Guide and shall not exceed ten times our charge for cleaning that garment, regardless of brand or condition. Items will be considered lost thirty days after the initial claim is filed. Shiniest House is not responsible for any items left for service without an associated order placed. When using our home delivery service, pick-up and delivery, Shiniest House is not responsible for your items before they are picked up or after they are dropped off. It is your responsibility to ensure the safety of your items during that time. For our delivery service, our maximum liability will be $100. Although we try as hard as possible to track such items, we are not responsible for loose items such as, but not limited to, jewelry, watches, cash, detachable buttons, cufflinks, belts, broaches, stings, laces, hoods, or lost items on garments, hangars, etc. We request that customers remove these items and empty pockets before leaving items with us, as we cannot be held responsible for damage to your garments from items left in your pockets (lipstick, gum, pens, etc.).
